A golden steampunk PC.

Ever Wonder What A $20,000 Steampunk PC Looks Like?

This steampunk PC isn’t just expensive, it’s also ridiculously cool.

Built by Derick Magnusen of Senpai Studios, this PC wouldn’t look out of place in Bioshock Infinitels city of Columbia.  From the copper tubes that make up the liquid cooling loop to the rustic case.

But, is it really worth $20,000?

In a word: yes.

This work of art is an absolute beast under its rustic appearance.  It packs not one but two Intel Xeons and no less than FOUR Nvidia Titan Xp.  I hope the owner uses it for playing more than Minecraft and Stardew Valley…

Here is the full list of components:

  • Chassis: Case Labs S8
  • GPUs: 4x Nvidia Titan Xp
  • CPUs: 2x Intel Xeon E5-2670 V3 (2.8Ghz 12c/24t each)
  • Motherboard: Asus Z10PE-D8 WS
  • RAM: 8x16GB Kingston DDR4 2133Mhz ECC
  • Storage: 4x Intel 750 NVME 1.2TB (3x PCI-E, 1x 2.5”)
  • PSU: Corsair AX1500i

And to think, I’d be perfectly happy with a 1070…
