Horizon: Zero Dawn is due for release in the US on February 28, 2017, but was slated for release on March 3, 2017 in the UK.

Sony have now confirmed that Zero Dawn will ship slightly earlier in the UK.

As announced in an official Twitter post, Horizon: Zero Dawn will now launch on March 1, 2017 – two days earlier than previously announced.

Horizon: Dawn Zero is being developed by the team behind Killzone series, Guerrilla Games, and will be an open-world action game expected to utilise the increased power capacity of the PS4 Pro.

While PS4 players will still be able to play the game, PS4 Pro owners will have enhanced colours, improved shadows, increased detail and higher quality texture sampling.

Two day’s isn’t much, but it’s good to see that gamers in the UK now won’t need to wait quite as long as our American counterparts.
