Mineko’s Night Market Is Adorable (And Has Lots Of Cats)

Mineko’s Night Market is the kind of game you play when you want to leave with a big, cheesy grin on your face.

Mineko’s Night Market boasts adorable visuals, joyous music, fun game mechanics and, oh yes, cats.  Lots and lots of fluffy cats.  You’re going to love it.

Comparisons can be drawn with Animal Crossing but the biggest difference is that Mineko’s Night Market respects your time.  It doesn’t ask you to finish the day job that you do to pay off your real-life mortgage to jump into a virtual world to grind to pay off a virtual mortgage.  Instead, the focus is on adventure, building relationships with the lovely locals, completing whimsical quests and crafting peculiar items for the weekly Night Market at the foot of Mount Fuji.

Oh, you just wanted more information on the cats?  Okay, well, they’re adorable and you grow them in your garden.  Yes, grow them.  For real.

Mineko’s Night Market is a weird-but-wonderful title that will absorb you into its magical world from the first moments.  Leaving with a big, cheesy grin is all but guaranteed.

Mineko’s Night Market is due for release later this year.
